Drew Pomeranz is racking up strikeouts at a career-best clip this season. Both his 11.7% swinging-strike rate and 28.3% strikeout rate are career highs. The only thing that’s keeping his SIERA (3.73) from being really low is a 10.1% walk rate.

Despite pitching his home outings at spacious Petco Park, Pomeranz has been better away from home, limiting hitters to a .245 wOBA in his road outings. He’ll be on the road for tonight’s clash with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he checks in as our top-ranked arm.
