Gregory Polanco is having a career year across the board. His .356 wOBA, 12 taters and 11.0% walk rate are all career-best clips.

A lefty, Polanco has done most of his damage against right-handed pitching. He owns a .372 wOBA with 10 of his 12 jacks coming versus righties.

Not only will Polanco see a right-handed pitcher tonight, but he also gets a bad one in Matt Garza. In 31 1/3 innings this year, he’s posted a 5.00 SIERA with a meager 12.8% strikeout rate. In a larger sample of 148 2/3 frames in 2015, Garza struggled to a 4.68 SIERA and 15.6% strikeout rate.
