A lot of the same things that applied to Ryan Braun yesterday for his road game at PNC Park also apply today.

He’s facing another lefty, this time it’s Francisco Liriano. With a 4.96 SIERA and 13.6% walk rate, Liriano is having the worst season of his career. He’s really struggled against right-handed hitters this year, surrendering a monster .352 wOBA to righties.

Braun does work versus left-handed pitching. He owns a .422 wOBA with a 35.9% hard-hit rate this season against southpaws, and for his career, that wOBA versus lefties climbs up to .433. Braun has also been killing it in 2016 away from Miller Park, sporting a .393 wOBA on the road.
