Brewers' Jackson Chourio leading off Friday in MLB debut
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio is starting in right field and batting leadoff in Friday's season opener against left-hander Jose Quintana and the New York Mets.
Chourio will lead things off against a lefty in his first MLB game. The top prospect will likely hit lower when the Brewers face right-handers in the beginning of the season. Sal Frelick and Brice Turang are both out of the lineup against a southpaw. Andruw Monasterio will play third base and bat ninth. Joey Ortiz will start on second and bat seventh. Blake Perkins will cover center field for the Brewers and bat sixth.
numberFire's models project Chourio for 9.8 FanDuel points in his MLB debut on Friday afternoon.
