Milwaukee Brewers infielder Jake Bauers (bereavement) will start on first base and bat cleanup in Monday's series opener against right-hander Jared Jones and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Bauers will return after missing the last three games. Owen Miller will return to the bench after covering first base in Sunday's series finale against the St. Louis Cardinals. Rhys Hoskins will hit fifth and Blake Perkins will bat sixth on Monday.
