Milwaukee leaves Blake Perkins off Monday lineup
The Milwaukee Brewers will not have Blake Perkins in their lineup for Monday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.
What It Means:
Perkins will take a seat Monday as the Brewers welcome Christian Yelich back into the lineup after his rest day. Yelich will bat third and cover left field.
Perkins has a limited route to playing time for the Brewers this season, especially if Garrett Mitchell returns to the lineup in the near future. He'll need to show more at the plate than a homer-less .250 average to earn regular time going forward.
