Jett Bandy (rib) lands on Brewers' disabled list
Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jett Bandy has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a fractured rib.
What It Means:
Bandy broke his rib on Sunday when he was hit by a pitch, but after going 0-for-3 with 3 strikeouts on Thursday, the Brewers decided to send him to the DL. Manny Pina is starting behind the plate for Milwaukee on Friday. There's no timetable for Bandy's return.
Over 50 games this season, Bandy is slashing .214/.294/.365 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI in 177 plate appearances.
