Charlotte's Mark Williams (back) out at least 4 more weeks
According to general manager Mitch Kupchak, Charlotte Hornets center Mark Williams (back) will miss at least four more weeks.
Per Kupchak, Williams' back contusion has taken some time to heal and he will not return until he is 100%. “It is taking longer. He did see a specialist within the last week," said Kupchak. "It’s going to take some time. He expects 100% return to play. There’s nothing here that will impact his playing career. I think the next update is four weeks.”
Look for Nick Richards to start at center as long as Williams is sidelined. In 241 minutes with Charlotte's current roster, Richards is averaging 0.98 FanDuel points per minute with Williams off the floor.
