Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati Bengals

Jeremy Hill ranked second in the NFL with 10 goal line rushing touchdowns last season, building on his 6 touchdowns that ranked seventh in the NFL in his 2014 rookie campaign. That success came on some hefty volume, with his 20 goal line carries ranking 11th in 2014 and his 24 ranking 24th last season.

Over that two-year span that Hill has been in the league, there are 45 running backs who have seen at least 15 goal line touches. Hill's 36.36% touchdown rate ranks fifth in the group, and if we increase the cut-off to 20-plus carries (encompassing 31 backs), he ranks first.

He has some competition for those touches, as Giovani Bernard also has 30 goal line carries over the past two years, but Bernard is not an effective goal line back, and among that aforementioned group, he ranks 41st with a 13.33% touchdown rate.

The run-heavy Hue Jackson is out as the Cincinnati Bengals' offensive coordinator, but Marvin Lewis remains the head coach, and the new offensive coordinator is Ken Zamprese, who has been promoted from within the organization.

No team has been more run-heavy on the goal line than the Bengals over the last two seasons, but even if their play calling shifts this year, the fact that Hill is one of the league's most efficient goal line backs means that he will still have the potential to find himself in the end zone with regularity this season.
