Matt Stafford, Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions were the most pass-heavy team in football in 2015, with a 1.91 pass-run ratio. That pass-heavy approach continued into the red zone, where their 1.84 pass-run ratio ranked sixth in the league, and onto the goal line, where their 1.90 ratio ranked third.

Matt Stafford may have lost one of his best weapons in Calvin Johnson, but he still has some excellent red zone targets to throw to in Golden Tate and Marvin Jones.

I wrote a bit about Tate's scoring abilities when I looked at wide receivers with big touchdown upside. From that piece:

Among the 61 players to see at least 15 goal line targets over the last three seasons, Tate's 57.89% touchdown rate is second only to Julius Thomas, and ranks first among wide receivers.

Jones is also a big touchdown threat, and if we look at the 111 players with 20-plus red zone targets over the last three years, Jones ranks fifth in touchdown rate, at 42.3%.
