4 Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Options For Week 1
Jared Cook, Green Bay Packers

After years of being burned by the athletic specimen, everyone has a bad taste in their mouth when it comes to Jared Cook. But he finally gets to play with a capable quarterback this season. His name is Aaron Rodgers -- perhaps you've heard of him.
Rodgers and Cook get a matchup against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that gave up the sixth-most fantasy points (standard scoring) to opposing tight ends last season. While Jacksonville's defense has improved this offseason thanks to a plethora of free-agent moves, the Green Bay Packers' implied total of 26.25 points is the fifth-highest clip in Week 1.
Jacksonville also ranked 27th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back last season. (You can read more about NEP, our in-house metric, in our glossary.)
At best, Cooks is likely the third option in Green Bay's passing attack, so he isn't the safest play. However, his upside is hard to deny in a nice matchup against the Jaguars.
