It shouldn’t come as a surprise to see Rob Gronkowski labeled as a stud, as he has led all tight ends in fantasy points in each of the past two seasons. Over those two seasons, the tight end with the second-most fantasy points had an average of 27.8 fantasy points fewer than Gronkowski.

The New England Patriots are six-point underdogs in this game, which actually works in Gronkowski’s favor. Like really works in his favor. He averaged 20.8 fantasy points per game last season when the Patriots were underdogs, compared to only 14.2 when they were the favorite to win.

Gronkowski really doesn’t need to have a good matchup to succeed, as his 6’6”, 265-pound frame makes him extremely tough for anyone to cover, but this week he gets an extra boost. Arizona ranked 26th last season in fantasy points given up to the opposition’s primary tight end.
