Miami Dolphins vs. Cleveland Browns

Over/Under: 41.5
Dolphins Implied Team Total: 25.75
Browns Implied Team Total: 15.75

Last week, the Miami Dolphins were featured in this article for LeGarrette Blount's potential against them in a game they were 10-point underdogs. A week later, Vegas has them listed as heavy favorites against the Cleveland Browns. While many will ignore this game due to the low over/under, Miami actually has the third-highest implied team total on the slate. So, who are some Miami players we can target to get exposure to their 25.75-point implied team total?

Ryan Tannehill, QB, Miami Dolphins

FanDuel Price: $7,400

If this offense is going to click the way it is predicted to, it is going to start with Ryan Tannehill, especially with starting running back Arian Foster unlikely to suit up. Since 2014, Tannehill and the Dolphins haven't played a game in which they were 10-point favorites, but in six games that they were favored by at least 5 points, Tannehill saw his average line improve from 23-for-37 for 255 yards and 1.5 touchdowns to 26-for-38 for 281 yards and 1.7 touchdowns. In nine games during that span in which the Dolphins actually won by at least 10 points, Tannehill averaged 262 passing yards and 2.2 touchdowns per game, as opposed to 256 yards and 1.3 scores in all other games.

While Miami isn't guaranteed to cover the spread in this one, they should have no problem putting up points on a Cleveland defense that has been shredded by the likes of Carson Wentz and Joe Flacco thus far. The Browns have given up the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks through two games this year, after allowing the 4th-most in 2015.

In addition to boasting one of the league's worst defenses, Cleveland is down to their third-string quarterback, Cody Kessler, who recently was reported not to be close to being ready to play. They also just lost top receiver Corey Coleman to a broken hand. It's quite possible that Cleveland's offense finds themselves often stalling out, giving Tannehill lots of opportunities to score.

Jarvis Landry, WR, Miami Dolphins

FanDuel Price: $7,000

if looking for someone to pair with Tannehill, Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker are both exciting plays against this defense. Cleveland has allowed opposing number-one receivers (Mike Wallace and Jordan Matthews) to pile up 11 catches for 155 yards and 3 touchdowns so far this year, which is especially encouraging for Landry when you consider that Matthews lines up in the slot 66 percent of the time.

Landry also should avoid Cleveland's top corner, Joe Haden, who has remained locked into his spot as the left corner back on 93 percent of Cleveland's defensive plays this season, per PFF. Landry has played 77 percent of his snaps out of the slot, as opposed to just 12 percent against left corners.

A quarterback's number-one receiver is the most highly-correlated play possible, which makes Landry all the more interesting if you think Tannehill is in for a big game.

Others to Consider

If you want, feel free to throw darts at any of Miami's running backs in tournaments, as the game script sets up beautifully for them. However, it appears a full-blown committee is likely, which isn't the type of situation we can confidently attack, especially with more predictable value plays available at the running back situation this week. The Miami D/ST is also in play, but stacking a defense with a quarterback has been proven to be one of the least positively correlated plays possible.

For the Browns, Duke Johnson is cheap at just $5,100, and the game script sets up well for him, but it is hard to recommend playing anyone in an offense projected for just 15.75 points.
