Start Dustin Hopkins as a Favorite

numberFire's Jim Sannes wrote a fantastic article in January on how kickers performed based on measures such as Vegas spreads, implied totals, and favorites versus underdogs. Based on his findings, we need to target kickers on teams that are heavily favored, with implied team total as the tiebreaker.

In Week 4, we are targeting minimum-priced kicker Dustin Hopkins, the starting kicker for Washington, since they are favored to win by 7.5 points.

It was previously mentioned with Cousins, but Washington is projected to score the second-highest total of the week at 26.75 points.

Hopkins is quietly averaging 13.7 fantasy points per game on FanDuel, yet he still only costs the minimum of $4,500, making him a nice plug-and-play option for those of you who want to spend up at other positions.
