It's hard to pass up on a starting tight end at minimum salary against the Detroit Lions.

Detroit has allowed an average of 5.6 receptions, 59.8 yards and 1.2 touchdowns per game to tight ends, and they are allowing the second-most fantasy points to the position. They have especially struggled against the pass in the red zone, allowing a 44.8% touchdown rate -- the second-highest clip in the league.

Lance Kendricks doesn't see consistent usage in the passing game, but he has seen at least six targets in two games this year and has been on the field for 92% of the Rams' offensive snaps this year. A matchup with the Lions gives him plenty of upside at the cheapest possible price.
