Jesse James, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers

FanDuel Price: $5,400
Salary Change: Up $900

Against the New York Jets in Week 5, Jesse James recorded a season-high in targets, catches, and yards. He also caught his third touchdown of the season, and as a result, his price increased for the first time all year.

But don’t just look at the box score. Last week’s touchdown was the result of miscommunication by Jets’ defense. If this doesn’t happen, it’s unlikely we’re talking about him in this column this week.

We also can’t overlook that the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense has suffered from major home/road splits in recent years. The lead tight end last year (mostly Heath Miller) averaged 40 yards per game with just 1 total touchdown on the road in eight games.

All of James’ touchdowns have come at home this season, and he’s only tallied 41 total yards in two road contests in 2016. Given his situation and the price increase, James is an easy fade in Week 6.
