There’s nothing more disheartening than driving downfield and not being able to convert that drive for a score. That’s what it seemed like happened on both sides of the field in the Jets’ game against the Baltimore Ravens: turnovers and penalties and botched punts and botched punt returns galore; oh my. No one really wanted to win this game except for the defenses, it seemed.

Jets cornerback Buster Skrine was happy to oblige. With 3rd-and-13 in Jets territory, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco took the snap and scanned the field for his targets. He decided slot man Breshad Perriman was his best bet and fired it in, but Skrine -- possibly the best cover man on New York these days -- jumped the pass and ran it back 51 yards to the Baltimore 3-yard line. We all get by with a little help from our friends, and the offenses had to be grateful for their own defense in this game.
