The San Francisco 49ers are an absolute mess -- there's no doubting that. But in terms of fantasy, the return of Colin Kaepernick behind center has led to increased production for Jeremy Kerley.

Kaepernick returned as the starter in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills and he has been playing like, well, Colin Kaepernick. He's only completed 53% of his passes (86 of 162 drop backs) with a Passing Success Rate of 41.5% (league average Passing Success Rate among quarterbacks with 100 drop backs or more is 47.1%). But given that the 49ers are playing from behind quite a bit, the passing volume is obviously there (an average of 32.4 drop backs per game).

All thise has positively impacted Kerley. Since Kaepernick has taken over as starter, Kerley has garnered 31 targets, leading the team.

While Kerley isn't the most efficient receiver or a big-play weapon -- his 0.50 Reception NEP per target ranks him 56th out of 63 wideouts with 50 targets or more) -- the volume should make Kerley a cheap commodity worth owning.
