Wide Receiver

Chalk:

With little to pay up for at receiver, Odell Beckham may end up being a popular option against the Browns. In the mid-price range, Larry Fitzgerald has an awesome individual matchup, as do Doug Baldwin, Julian Edelman, and Rishard Matthews, who are all trending upwards right now.

Pivot:

Demaryius Thomas, $7,500 (vs Kansas City Chiefs): Last week, it was Mike Evans for six catches and 105 yards. The week before, Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess both turned in productive games. In Week 9, Allen Robinson put up 17.1 FanDuel points. Before that, Donte Moncrief had 41 yards and a score. Michael Thomas dropped 18 in Week 7, a week after Amari Cooper scored 17.9. What do these receivers have in common? They all primarily line up as the left receiver, and they all destroyed Steven Nelson and the Kansas City Chiefs.

This week, Demaryius Thomas draws what has become a plug-and-play matchup as the left receiver against Kansas City. Marcus Peters has stayed on the opposite side on 92 percent of his snaps (Per Pro Football Focus), causing teams to funnel targets to the left side. Thomas has seen at least 10 targets in five straight games and should be heavily targeted against Nelson this week.

DeVante Parker, $6,300 (vs San Francisco 49ers): DeVante Parker finds himself in the same price range as Edelman and Matthews, and isn't likely to see the ownership that either will due to his volatile week-to-week performances.

He has caught 13 of 19 targets for 182 yards and 30.7 FanDuel points in his past two contests. He'll take on a 49ers secondary that has allowed the third-most FanDuel points per game to opposing receivers this season, so he should have no problem remaining productive. Given Miami's 26.5-point implied team total and the fact that the Niners have allowed more touchdowns to opposing receivers than any other team, Parker seems like a solid bet to find the end zone this weekend, too.
