Tight Ends

High-Cost Option: Jimmy Graham ($5,500)

This is a pretty poor week for tight ends in terms of pricing and matchups, but Jimmy Graham is someone who we should consider paying up for in Week 13. The Carolina Panthers rank 20th in DVOA against opposing tight ends and have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points and third-most touchdowns to opposing tight ends. Graham ranks in the top five in Reception NEP, has the second-most receiving yards among all tight ends, and has 19.5 percent of the team's targets over their last four games. His price isn't terrible this week, and we've seen teams have success against the Panthers attacking the middle of the field.

Mid-Cost Option: Travis Kelce ($4,700)

The Falcons are another team that's struggled defending tight ends, allowing the fourth-most touchdowns and sixth-most fantasy points to the position. Travis Kelce has averaged 9.4 targets per game over his last five and has three 100-yard outings over that span. With Jeremy Maclin already ruled out, Kelce's ceiling is plenty high. Zeus is still seeing a massive target share, and the Chiefs may need to pass to keep pace in this game.

Low-Cost Option: Vance McDonald ($2,900)

Current weather forecasts for the San Francisco 49ers' game at the Chicago Bears looks like a potential mix of rain and snow, and that will be something to monitor as we get closer to kickoff. While that may affect receivers on the outside, it could create a positive situation for Vance McDonald. The Bears have lost both starting inside linebackers -- Jerrell Freeman and Danny Trevathan -- creating a massive void at one of the most integral parts of Vic Fangio's defense. Chicago's defense hasn't allowed a ton of fantasy points to opposing tight ends (ninth-fewest), but they have been burned for the sixth-most touchdowns by the position. McDonald has six-plus targets in five straight games and two touchdowns over that span. He makes for a great stacking option this week with Colin Kaepernick.
