San Diego Chargers at Carolina Panthers

Over/Under: 48.0
Chargers Implied Team Total: 23.25
Panthers Implied Team Total: 24.75

The Carolina Panthers host the San Diego Chargers in a game that boasts the second-highest over/under (48) of the week. The Panthers are a slight favorite, and although both defenses rank in the top half of the league, per our numbers, there are a few players who appear to be in a good spot.

Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers

FanDuel Price: $7,800

Carolina is just a 1.5-point favorite, but they are a favorite nonetheless. In his career, Cam Newton has been a drastically better passer in wins than in losses.

Actually, saying he throws it drastically better in wins is still underselling it a tad; Cam has been a totally different player. Last year's MVP has also logged more rushing touchdowns in wins throughout his career, totaling 30 rushing scores in victories, compared to 17 rushing touchdowns in defeats.

While San Diego has a quality defense, especially with the emergence of Joey Bosa, they have allowed the sixth-most rushing touchdowns per game (0.25) to quarterbacks in 2016.

On top of all that, Newton can be had for a reasonable salary ($7,800) this week as he's just the 14th-most expensive quarterback.

Greg Olsen, TE, Carolina Panthers

FanDuel Price: $6,400

After starting the year on fire, Greg Olsen hasn't reached double-digit FanDuel points in four straight games. He's still seeing good volume, though, averaging 6.75 targets per game during his four-week slump.

The Bolts have struggled with tight ends this season. San Diego ranks in the top 10 in targets (8.36), receptions (5.64), and receiving yards (61.73) allowed per game to the position. That's how Tampa Bay chose to attack the Chargers last week, targeting Cameron Brate 9 times -- he hauled in 6 of those passes for 86 yards and a score -- while looking to Mike Evans 6 times.

San Diego allows the 11th-fewest FanDuel points per game to wideouts, so if you're looking for someone to pair with Cam, Olsen is the best bet.

Tyrell Williams, WR, San Diego Chargers

FanDuel Price: $6,800

There was some concern after last week's game that a banged-up Tyrell Williams (shoulder) was going to see a limited role because he was targeted just four times -- although he did turn those into 2 grabs for 47 yards and a score -- in Week 13. But Williams played 96.4% of the snaps in that game, so the Chargers weren't treating him with kid gloves by any means.

Williams has been a stud this season, and his price doesn't reflect his production. Starting in Week 5, Williams has scored at least 11.7 FanDuel points in every game, with the exception of his two matchups against the Denver Broncos. In fact, looking at just the past four weeks, Williams is averaging the fifth-most FanDuel points per game in that span -- behind only Odell Beckham, Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, and Dez Bryant.

Williams is very good.

And while the matchup against the Panthers' defense isn't ideal, over the last four weeks, Carolina is allowing the eighth-most yards to wideouts.
