High-Cost Option: Jordy Nelson ($8,100)

Most of the top-dollar options aren't necessarily needed this week, and it's looking like Jordy Nelson will be the one we want to pursue if we're paying up at the position. Jordy is coming off a spectacular game so ownership will be extremely high on him, but he has another ceiling worth chasing this week. He could be running most of his routes against Nevin Lawson, although Darius Slay did practice Wednesday. Lawson has been fairly sound in coverage, allowing just 0.22 fantasy points per route defended, and ranks as ProFootballFocus' 40th-ranked cornerback. The last time Jordy played the Lions, he had little difficult scoring fantasy points, picking up two touchdowns and reaching the 100-yard bonus.

Mid-Cost Option: Cameron Meredith ($5,200)

Nelson's aforementioned great stat line came last week against the Minnesota Vikings, where he primarily ran most of his routes in the slot and was able to find great success. Cameron Meredith will inherit that role this week in a plus-matchup against a secondary that just allowed Green Bay's receivers to accumulate 289 receiving yards and 3 scores. Xavier Rhodes's lockdown coverage remains on the outside, but Meredith has run 52 percent of his routes out of the slot and should avoid him for most of the game. It's there that he could find success against slot corner Captain Munnerlyn. Munnerlyn is allowing 0.27 fantasy points per route defended -- the highest rate among Minnesota's starting corners. Meredith is coming off back-to-back 100-yard outings and averaging 24.4 fantasy points over in his last three games.

Low-Cost Option: Steve Smith ($4,900)

In what could be the last game of his career, Steve Smith will be another chalk play with the Ravens likely feeding Smith as many targets as he can handle. Baltimore has moved Smith around the formation quite a bit, and he draws two beatable matchups against Dre Kirkpatrick on the outside and Josh Shaw in the slot. Kirkpatrick ranks as PFF's 74th-ranked corner, and Shaw is yielding 0.24 fantasy points per route defended this season. Smith's potential for a heavy workload in what may be the final game of his career makes him someone well worth targeting in GPPs.
