Start Steven Hauschka as a Double-Digit Favorite

numberFire's Jim Sannes wrote an article in January on how kickers performed based on measures such as Vegas spreads, implied totals, and favorites versus underdogs. Based on his findings, we need to target kickers on teams that are heavily favored, with implied team total as the tiebreaker.

In Week 17, we are targeting Steven Hauschka. The Seattle Seahawks are playing on the road against the San Francisco 49ers, and Seattle is favored to beat the Niners by 10 points. According to Sannes, kickers on teams favored by 10 or more points scored an average of 9.77 points per game between 2012-2014.

The Seahawks' implied total of 26.25 is tied for the fifth highest on the Week 17 slate.

Hauschka is the 10th-most expensive kicker on FanDuel at $4,700, making him a great play at the position.
