5. White Brings the Patriots Within Two

Win Probability Swing: +10.83% | Win Probability After: 31.23%

White had himself a game, yo. Before he could win it in overtime, they had to get there first, and he was a big contributor in making that happen.

When the Patriots got the ball with 3:30 left in the fourth quarter, trailing by eight points, their win odds were just 8.41%. They got as low as 4.37% after consecutive incompletions for Brady. That's when the offense started chugging.

Brady found Hogan for 16 yards to extend the drive and keep New England in contention. Malcolm Mitchell had an 11-yard reception that increased the Patriots' win odds over four percentage points, leading to Edelman's circus catch. They just kept on chipping away until White plunged in from one yard out.

White's touchdown brought the Patriots' win odds all the way up to 31.23%, but they still needed a two-point conversion to tie it up at 28 apiece. I've got a hunch you'll be seeing that play later.
