1. Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts (2004)

At 28-years-old, Manning put up the best season of anyone in the last 25 seasons. He yielded a passer rating of 121.1 along with an amazing 9.78 ANY/A. He completed 67.61% of his passes, throwing for 4,557 yards and 49 touchdowns.

With numbers like that, it's no surprise Manning repeated as MVP. He led the Colts to 12 regular season wins and a wild card victory over the Broncos before losing out to the Patriots in the AFC divisional round.
