We all know Alabama for college football, but there's clearly much more to it than that. Alabama natives like Philip Rivers have helped bring the state to the top of the NFL ranks. Throwing for more than 45,000 yards and a total of 314 touchdowns, Rivers has earned himself a career AV of 128.

The Pro Bowl quarterback is quite literally flanked by one of the best wide receivers in recent eras in Terrell Owens. Owens was voted to 6 Pro Bowls in his 15 seasons in the league, having racked up over 1,000 catches and 153 total touchdowns in his career.

Joining Rivers and Owens, DeMarcus Ware is one of the most dominant defensive players we've seen in some time. In 12 years, Ware has a career AV of 100 on the back of 138.5 sacks and 505 tackles.
