Washington

Top Needs: DT, ILB, OLB, CB

Almost all of Washington’s needs are on one side of the ball, so this will help them keep track of things on draft day. Nose tackle Ziggy Hood was abhorrent in run defense, as was inside linebacker Will Compton. Washington churned out the ninth-worst Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play last year and needs to plug the vacuum in the middle of their defense.

In addition, Josh Norman was the only above-average cornerback this season, so they need secondary help for him. Kendall Fuller is still developing, and Bashaud Breeland is just plain bad in coverage.

If they want to take pressure off of the secondary, adding another pass-rusher to their rotation would help, as outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan can’t do it alone. However they do it, they need to fix their ninth-worst Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
