On 153 targets, Rice caught 98 balls for a league-best 1,503 yards and 15 touchdowns. He caught 64.1% of passes thrown his way for an average of 9.82 yards per target.

Rice's AV of 20 ranks second among his all-time great seasons. He not only made the Pro Bowl and All-Pro First Team, but he won Offensive Player of the Year honors.
