14. Eagles (from MIN) -- Corey Davis, Wide Receiver

Top Needs: RB, WR, DT, CB

The Philadelphia Eagles need to give their burgeoning offense new weapons; the wide receiver group earned the third-worst Reception NEP per target and seventh-least total Reception NEP.

Western Michigan wideout Corey Davis is a small-schooler, but his lack of big program pedigree shouldn’t give you pause. He tracks the deep ball extremely well, running beautiful routes that show him toggling up and down on speed to confuse coverage. He’s also got the requisite size -- at 6’3”, 215 pounds -- to be a big-time red zone threat, and sure hands make him a touchdown maven in the making.

Davis is a perfect pairing to possession receiver Jordan Matthews. While not a traditional shrimpy speedster, Davis’ size/speed combo will make him lethal in the league. Among 76 FBS wide receivers with at least 60 catches last year, his 15.46 yards per reception were 18th-most and his 19.59 percent touchdown rate the fifth-highest; this is a true number one in waiting.
