Playing behind the worst offensive line in the NFL, it’s no wonder Jerick McKinnon struggled in 2016. In Adrian Peterson's stead, McKinnon out-snapped teammate Matt Asiata by over 100 snaps for the season, but he only ended up with about five more fantasy points in standard-scoring formats.

His 3.3 yards per carry average point to McKinnon’s strength is as a receiver, as suggested by his 7.92 Receiving NEP for the season. He caught 43 receptions for 255 yards and scored twice through the air. McKinnon’s -21.45 Rush NEP ranked him fourth-worst for the 2016 season, behind only Gurley, Jennings and Doug Martin.
