4. Matt Schaub

Matt Schaub is the guy that bridges the gap between the bottom three and top three quarterbacks from this class. He was never a star quarterback, but he has been a serviceable option for 13-plus seasons.

Until his fourth season, Schaub never started more than a single game, but after going from the Atlanta Falcons to the Houston Texans, a 26-year-old Schaub threw for 2,241 yards and 9 touchdowns across 11 starts. He would go 46-42 as a starter in the seven seasons he spent with the Texans, tallying a total of 124 touchdowns while completing 64.6% of his passes.

Schaub's best season was his seventh, when he threw for 4,370 yards and 24 touchdowns with a 6-10 Houston team. He didn't make the Pro Bowl that year, but he did manage to make two appearances in 2009 and 2012.

Since departing the Texans, Schaub has played in a backup role for three straight seasons.
