4. Jamaal Charles

CarAV: 63

Jamaal Charles represents a shift from the solid running backs to those who have made a bigger name for themselves in one way or another. Of those, Charles did just that with his top-end speed by producing 56 total touchdowns in just six seasons of 15-plus games.

Therein lies one of the few problems with Charles' career -- injuries. The speedster has failed to play more than five games in a season three times, and in two of those, he accounted for just one touchdown apiece.

Nevertheless, when healthy, Charles was just about as good as any running back in the league. In 2010, the former Longhorn wound up with eight touchdowns on 1,935 yards from scrimmage and produced an AV of 17 in a Pro Bowl and All-Pro campaign. That was the highest AV of his career, and one of three times he hit double digits.
