From his cornerback position, Alterraun Verner has had the same success Jones had at safety. In 110 career games, the California native amassed 15 interceptions along with 70 passes defended and 1 defensive touchdown.

In his lone Pro Bowl season, Verner earned an individual best AV of 12. He accomplished this by intercepting five passes and taking one to the house. He even added 23 pass defenses and 49 tackles in his 16 starts.
