1. Luke Kuechly

CarAV: 61

It feels like we're splitting hairs here, but Luke Kuechly has been just a little better than Wagner through the class' first five seasons. In his five years manning the middle of the Carolina Panthers defense, the former Boston College star has 453 tackles, 12 interceptions, 45 passes defended and 9 sacks in 71 games.

Before missing nine regular season games across the last two seasons, the spectacular inside linebacker produced back-to-back-to-back 16-start seasons with at least 96 tackles in each campaign. His second season in 2013 -- which resulted in 96 tackles, 4 picks and 2 sacks -- was the most fruitful as proven by his AV of 18.

Rightfully so, that became Kuechly's first All-Pro and Pro Bowl season. It was the first of three straight such seasons, and in 2016, Kuechly made his fourth Pro Bowl by the age of 25.
