Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver Broncos

Based on our NEP results, some wide receivers get shortchanged on touchdowns relative to their production. It just happens. Even if a receiver is making first-down conversions and adding positive plays in high-leverage situations, they don't always reap the benefits of touchdowns.

That's been the case for Demaryius Thomas for two years running. He's maintained his 90-catch, 1,000-yard plateaus for five years in a row, despite his quarterback play.

That alone should have your attention, after Thomas finished as the WR16 in PPR leagues even when missing out on some potential scores.

Thomas, who says he's no longer dealing with his hip issue, also gets a familiar face back in offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, who was his coordinator in 2012, when Thomas broke out.

McCoy's goal is to build an offense around his best players, and that all sounds like good news for Thomas, who has been a top-10 PPR receiver in four of the past five years and the WR16 in his worst year since 2012.
