Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Dalvin Cook is another rookie runner with some tasty college numbers, and it appears that he could open the season as the Minnesota Vikings' top back.

Cook averaged 1,728 yards and 19 touchdowns per year over his final two collegiate seasons. In 2016, he accounted for 67.11% of Florida State's rushing yards and 55.60% of their attempts. He was also good for 14.21% of the team's receiving yards.

Cook underwhelmed at the combine, especially with his agility and burst numbers, but his outstanding college résumé helped him get selected in the second round of the NFL Draft.

The Vikings seem to like what they have, with coach Mike Zimmer saying Cook can be "special." Despite the offseason addition of Latavius Murray, it appears Cook is on the fast track to start.

Minnesota's offensive line was a wreck last season, but they addressed it in the draft, particularly in the third round with center Pat Elflein.

Being selected as RB25, Cook could break out in a big way if he holds off Murray and Jerick McKinnon for the lead role.
