Brandon Marshall, WR, New York Giants

Positional ADP: WR25 | Projected Finish: WR36

Brandon Marshall has had a Hall of Fame career, and now gets to play with arguably the best quarterback he's ever had. I recently wrote in depth about the New York Giants' newest wide receiver, so I won't reiterate everything here.

Suffice it to say there are a number of reasons to be enthusiastic about his 2017 prospects. So why am I still fading him?

Fantasy Football ADP for Brandon Marshall

Marshall's ADP his inched up from WR29 at the time I wrote him up, to WR25 now, but nothing about his outlook has changed. He's now priced closer to his best outcome, and that gives me pause.

If his price drops into the mid-sixth round, I'll happily take him. But like a bidder at an auction, he's too expensive now, and I'm putting my paddle down.

Instead Try

Golden Tate is available in the sixth round, and unlike Marshall, Tate has less competition for targets. Tate has been Detroit's leading wideout for a while, and with the departure of Anquan Boldin, there's more work available. We project him to be the WR21.
