7 NFL FanDuel Bargains for Week 1
Jeremy Hill, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
Price: $5,500
The Baltimore Ravens aren't an ideal matchup for running backs. They've allowed bottom-10 fantasy production in 2016, but Jeremy Hill is cheap enough here that -- especially with the Cincinnati Bengals sitting as three-point favorites and possibly getting into a favorable game script -- we can overlook the matchup.
Hill is the top back on the Bengals' depth chart, but he's not priced like it, with the same salary as second-stringer Giovani Bernard and a salary $900 lower than third-string rookie Joe Mixon. Mixon may eventually climb the depth chart, but Hill is the top dog for the Bengals for now.
Hill has averaged 15.6 carries and 13.8 FanDuel points per game over the 16 games in which the Bengals have been favored by at least three points in the past two seasons. This is a rare situation in which you can get a starting running back who will likely see a sizable workload while he's priced like a backup.
