8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 1
Charles Clay, TE, Buffalo Bills
Charles Clay saw strong volume for a tight end in 2016. He averaged 5.8 targets per game, which accounted for 20% of the Buffalo Bills' targets in games he played. That ranked fifth among tight ends on the season. He also ranked 11th at the position with a 17% market share of the Bills' air yards.
Buffalo lost their three most-targeted wideouts from 2016 this offseason (Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin), and even if those targets end up staying in the receiving corps, it's hard to envision Clay's volume going down much.
The New York Jets allowed top-10 fantasy production to tight ends last year, and Clay's likely volume puts him in a great spot to take advantage of that matchup.
