8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 1
Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets
The wide receiver situation for the New York Jets is a lot like it is for the Bears. They have brought in a couple new faces in Jermaine Kearse and Jeremy Kerley, but they are also dealing with the departures of Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall, while Quincy Enunwa is out for the season. That trio combined for a whopping 46.7% of the team's targets in 2016.
Robby Anderson didn't see a lot of targets last year, averaging 4.3 per game, but the quality of those targets from a fantasy standpoint was interesting. His 31% share of the team's air yards was a top-25 mark in the NFL. He also saw an uptick in volume as the season went on, averaging 6.6 targets per week over his last nine games.
Like the two Bears receivers, Anderson isn't an efficient option since the Jets won't be good this year, and especially this week against the Buffalo Bills, but his volume and downfield usage gives him some nice upside, even against the Bills.
