Jared Cook, TE, Oakland Raiders

Jared Cook saw significant volume for the Oakland Raiders in Week 1, with five receptions on five targets. His 16% share of his team's targets ranked 12th among tight ends, while his 20% share of air yards was tied for 6th.

Tight end fantasy scoring tends to be heavily reliant on touchdowns, so getting a guy who plays such a significant role in an offense provides a solid floor relative to other options at the position.

It's not like he's without touchdown upside this week, either. The Raiders have the week's second-highest implied total (28.5) as they take on the mess that is the New York Jets, who gave up 21 points to an underwhelming Buffalo Bills offense in Week 1. They really struggled defending tight ends in that one, with Charles Clay turning 9 targets into 4 receptions, 53 yards, and 1 touchdown.
