Tyler Kroft, TE, Cincinnati Bengals

Week 4 Fantasy Points: 18.8

Let's take a moment to enjoy what could be the high point of Tyler Kroft's season. Kroft turned 7 targets into 6 catches, 68 yards, and a pair of touchdowns. So what about the future?

In three seasons, Kroft has only cleared 5 targets in a game twice. Including Week 4, he's managed exactly one career game with more than 5 catches or 50 yards. Not a great resume, but remember that tight ends often take time to develop, and Kroft has been stuck behind Tyler Eifert.

Since Eifert has missed the past two games, Kroft has seen about 20 percent of Cincinnati's targets, a great number for a tight end. Without Eifert, he's playing almost 99 percent of the team's snaps on offense, also a good sign. Lastly, the Bengals did see fit to spend a top-100 pick on him (85th overall) in the 2015 NFL draft.

Dynasty league players may want to stash Kroft, since Eifert is in the final year of his contract and isn't a lock to get re-signed. As for single-season fantasy leagues, Kroft may have situational appeal if and when Eifert misses more games.
