Jalen Richard, RB, Oakland Raiders

With DeAndre Washington out of action in Week 5, Oakland Raiders running back Jalen Richard took advantage, earning a season-high 25 snaps. He finished with 9 touches for 37 yards against the Baltimore Ravens, outperforming starter Marshawn Lynch on a per-carry basis, 4.2 yards per carry to Beast Mode's 3.6. Washington has remained limited in practice, making his availability to play against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6 a question mark. That leaves the door open for another day of Richard and Lynch splitting carries, albeit in a much better spot.
The Chargers have been unable to stop anyone on the ground this year, allowing four teams to rush for over 140 yards in a game. They have surrendered an average of 161.2 rushing yards per game, a league-high. Opposing running backs are coming away with an average of 21.6 fantasy points every week, the 6th-most in the NFL.
Derek Carr is expected to return to the field on Sunday. Even with their star signal caller back, the Raiders may decide it is best to keep it on the ground, limiting the number of hits Carr and his injured back take. Considering how bad the Chargers have been against the run, they should find plenty of room as well.
