After some early season success, Sammy Watkins' fantasy production has dropped off a cliff. He has been benchable for weeks, and you probably would not get many arguments if you were to drop him in season-long leagues. It's not his fault. When he sees the ball, he produces. Of players who have received at least as many targets as he has, he ranks as the seventh-best receiver in terms of our Net Expected Points metric. Yet Jared Goff has only looked his way a paltry 29 times this season.

This week, however, he has a legitimate chance to bounce back into fantasy relevance with a matchup against the New York Giants. The Giants have had their struggles against opposing wideouts, but will have the added pressure of being without their star cornerback Janoris Jenkins this week. After allowing only one opposing receiver to score double-digits in their first three games, they have allowed seven receivers to pass that threshold in their last four. In the past two weeks, they have allowed an astonishing 50.6 points per game to the position.

If Sean McVay can't find a way for Goff to force-feed Watkins the ball this week, we many not see it happen this season.
