With Pierre Garcon out for the season, de facto number one wide receiver Marquise Goodwin showed some promising volume, grabbing 2-of-8 targets for 68 yards against the Arizona Cardinals. Considering the speedy Goodwin's high average depth of target and reliance on the shaky play of C.J. Beathard -- who needed an absurd 51 passing attempts to reach 294 yards on Sunday -- he'll almost certainly remain an inconsistent week-to-week fantasy play.

Thus, while the 49ers passing attack probably isn't one you want to rely upon that often, Goodwin will continue to see plenty of targets, and in Week 10 they face a crumbling New York Giants team that was lit up for 51 points by the Los Angeles Rams. It doesn't sound like coach Ben McAdoo has a whole lot of answers right now, and even if Janoris Jenkins is back this week, the Giants could once again be ripe for the picking -- even if it's by the lowly 49ers. Deep formats can even consider taking a look at Aldrick Robinson, who only managed 2 receptions for 18 yards, but saw 8 targets as well.

Long term, there also looms the possibility that the newly acquired Jimmy Garoppolo could take over at some point, potentially giving the whole offense a lift.
