Devontae Booker, RB, Denver Broncos

Yahoo! Ownership: 7%

Based on the snap count the last two games, it appears Devontae Booker has surpassed Jamaal Charles as the number two back on the Denver Broncos depth chart...even if the Broncos' official site says otherwise. The second-year tailback has been on the field for 47 snaps (34.3% of the offensive plays) while Charles has seen 32 (23.4%). Booker hasn't wasted his time either, racking up 17 touches for 84 yards and a touchdown. With starting running back C.J. Anderson nursing an ankle injury in addition to being sent home from practice on Thursday due to illness, Book Mode could see extra touches against a soft New England Patriots' defense.

New England has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs, as teams are averaging 5.1 yards per carry against them, the most in the NFL. Even if the game script turns negative and the Broncos need to abandon the run game, the former Utah Ute is tied with Anderson and Charles with 16 targets on the season, even though his counterparts have substantially more playing time. Booker also has 123 receiving yards to lead the trio.
