7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 11
Jay Cutler, QB, Miami Dolphins
Yahoo! Ownership: 26%
Even with the Miami Dolphins struggling, Jay Cutler has been a solid fantasy producer, becoming a worthwhile streaming option.
In four consecutive games, Cutler has thrown at least 2 touchdowns while completing 68% of his passes. Two of his opponents during the run, Atlanta and Carolina, are no pushovers as they rank in the top-six in pass defense, explicitly yards allowed per game. In his most favorable matchup of the quartet -- the Oakland Raiders, who allow the 11th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks -- Cutler posted his best game of the year with 311 passing yards and 3 scores for a QB5 fantasy finish in Week 9.
This Sunday, his task is even easier as he faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Bucs' passing defense has been getting shredded this year, allowing the fourth-most yards (266) and ninth-most fantasy points per game (18.3) to opposing quarterbacks. Their lack of a pass rush (their 14 sacks rank 30th in the NFL) has allowed quarterbacks to complete 67.8% of their passes while throwing just 6 picks in nine games, which is another plus for the turnover-prone Cutler.
