It's hard to trust a player like Jeremy Maclin. It's not completely his fault, really. He's on a team that prefers to win by running the ball and playing solid defense.

While the Ravens still want to run the ball and have done so successfully in recent weeks, the defense hasn't been very good without Jimmy Smith. We saw this on display last week as the Steelers and Ravens played the highest-scoring game in the history of their bitter rivalry.

Mike Wallace has been the most consistent receiver on the Ravens as of late. However, big receiving games against the Browns have disproportionately come from players running slot routes. In the past six games, four receivers have topped 20 fantasy points against the Browns, and three of them run out of the slot at least 30% of the time. Wallace runs out of the slot 6.2% of the time, compared to Maclin's 30.4%, according to Player Profiler.

Maclin's output has sputtered, but he has seen 19 targets across the past two weeks, the most on the team. We project him to finish with the highest amount of targets on the team once again this week, giving him the opportunity to break out in a plus matchup.
