Kareem Hunt Leads All Rookies With 1,641 Yards From Scrimmage

Following his slump of five straight games of fewer than 100 yards and no touchdowns, Kareem Hunt has re-emerged with an average of 172.0 yards from scrimmage over the past two weeks. That bumps his average up to 117.2 yards per game through the first 14 games of his rookie season.

His 1,201 rushing yards so far this year trail the league-leader, Le'Veon Bell, by just 21 yards, and his 440 receiving yards are the seventh-most of any running back in 2017. If he can maintain his current pace, Hunt will end the season with 1,875.4 yards from scrimmage, which would be the third-most of any rookie running back since at least 1999.

He will get a great opportunity to chase that mark in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins, who are giving up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing starting running backs. But Hunt will have a tougher test in the season finale against the Denver Broncos, who held him to a total of 68 yards on 25 touches in their first meeting of the season.
