5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 16
Antonio Brown Leads the NFL with 1,533 Receiving Yards
This may seem like an odd time to write this up, considering Antonio Brown did not play in Week 16. But that actually makes his league-leading receiving total even more impressive, especially when factoring in that he also missed most of Week 15. Even with that missed time, Brown still has 155 more receiving yards this season than any other player.
And with DeAndre Hopkins -- who sits in second place with 1,378 receiving yards -- only topping 155 receiving yards in a game once this season, it is very possible that Brown ends the season atop the leader board even without playing in Week 17.
Brown is also currently tied for second among all wide receivers with 101 receptions this year, marking his fifth straight season with 100 or more receptions.
With the Pittsburgh Steelers locking up a first round bye for the playoffs, Brown will now have plenty of time to rest before returning to the field in January. Look out.
